The House Financial Services Committee has written to three federal financial regulatory agencies, NCUA, CFPB and OCC, to request that they do not honor Freedom of Information Act requests related to communications with the committee. Moreover, they are to report to the committee any requests for such communications. "Let me be clear, I take transparency very seriously," said the committee's chair, Jeb Hensarling. [5/15/17]
