In 2017, Philadelphia filed a lawsuit against Wells Fargo over discriminatory lending allegations. The two have reached a settlement that includes Wells Fargo providing $10 million for “sustainable housing-related programs to promote and preserve homeownership for low- and moderate-income residents” of the city.
