Trade Groups Give CFPB’s Proposed Complaint Rating System One Star
The CFPB has proposed to give consumers the opportunity to rate their bank's response to their complaint on a scale of 1 to 5. Trade groups give the proposal thumbs down, saying that the pool of customers who take the time to respond will likely be those who are most dissatisfied and that there is no guide established to indicate what performance constitutes a particular score. The trade groups have suggestions for better ways this could be handled. [10/11/16]
