Top of the FDIC’s June Naughty List: A Louisiana Bank’s Flood Violations
At the top of the FDIC's list of June 2019 enforcement actions is a $136,000 civil money penalty to Bank of Louisiana for repeated and multiple flood insurance violations, including failure to obtain required flood insurance coverage, failure to maintain full coverage for the term of the loan, failure to obtain sufficient amounts of coverage, and failure to notify the borrower of force-place coverage (the list of violations continues, but we ran out of space).
