Three Banks Fail CRA
Rough month in FDIC CRA land. FDIC's July list of CRA ratings shows that Reynolds State Bank in Illinois received a "substantial noncompliance" rating, the harshest that can be handed out. First Bank of Ohio and Sewickley Savings Bank in Pennsylvania received the next lowest rating, "needs to improve." A little smoother sailing for OCC banks in June, when all 25 evaluations were "satisfactory" or "outstanding." [7/6/17]
