Texas Bank Hit for Flood Violations
FDIC's naughty list for the September 2019 includes First State Bank of Burnet in Burnet, Texas, which was hit for a $21,700 civil money penalty for failing to obtain flood insurance coverage on loans secured by a building or mobile home in a special flood hazard area, failing to maintain the required amount of flood insurance coverage, and failing to properly provide a notice of force placement.
