The Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act (EGRPRA) requires the members of the FFIEC to review their regulations and make efforts to reduce their burden. The State Liaison Committee has included, as Appendix 1 of the report, opportunities it has identified for additional relief, including simplifying capital rules, reducing Call Report burden, and re-examining the threshold for appraisals.
