The SBA announced yesterday that it is extending the fee relief for 7(a) loans of $150,000 or less and for SBA Veterans Advantage loans through September 30, 2015. Maria Contreras-Sweet, the SBA Administrator, said that she hopes this extension will encourage more credit unions to engage in small business lending and, particularly, micro-lending. [10/2/14]
