In its open board meeting yesterday, the NCUA proposed a plan that would close the Temporary Corporate Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (TCCUSIF) this year. Under the proposed plan, credit unions would avoid a possible Share Insurance Fund premium in 2017 and receive a distribution in 2018. [7/21/17]
