But DOJ has just announced the settlement of a third case, this time a $1.2 million settlement with Plaza Bank in California. Justice alleges that the bank enabled a payment processing company to allow a scam to fraudulently offer airline tickets and other incentives in exchange for bank information that was then used to deduct money from victims' accounts.
