The FFIEC’s Appraisal Subcommittee has proposed a new rule which would implement collection and transmission of appraisal management company (AMC) annual registry fees. Such fees would be handled by State appraiser certifying and licensing agencies electing to register and supervise AMCs. Comments regarding this proposal are welcomed. [5/20/16]
