NCUA has extended more than $2 million dollars in grants to 225 low-income credit unions that will now have the ability to expand their products and services, open new offices or relocate existing offices, invest in technology or provide enhanced security to their members. In all, NCUA had received requests from 580 low-income credit unions for more than $9.4 million in assistance. [8/6/15]
