How Law Enforcement Uses Your SARs

Your SARs may be time consuming to prepare, and you may think nothing ever happens to them once you click submit, but here's some proof that that is not always the case. In fact, there's a whole awards program dedicated to recognizing law enforcement agencies that are using those SARs to good effect. Of course, the unspoken partners here are the financial institutions who prepared the SARs, but then again, singling out BSA Officer [your name here] from [your financial institution name and city/state] here for helping to put [name of scary bad guy who happens to have a lot of close relatives] behind bars may not be best idea, either.
