
House Spending Bill: Is the CFPB About to Get its Wings Clipped?
Under a spending bill approved by the House late last week, the CFPB's funding would be brought under the Congressional appropriations process, the director would be replaced by a five-member bipartisan commission, and Operation Chokepoint would be throttled.
