Here’s Why the CFPB’s Complaint Database is Valuable
Many in the banking industry deride the CFPB's consumer complaint database as a thorn in their side. However, the voice of consumers is typically considered a business' most valuable asset. While the CFPB's complaint database isn't without its flaws, it nevertheless complaints can be early indicators of where regulatory scrutiny is heading next as well opportunities for new products for which there is a growing need.
