A former MoneyGram executive has been barred from performing any compliance function for three years and ordered to pay $250,000 for allowing some key lapses, including failing to terminate MoneyGram outlets that were complicit in consumer fraud schemes and structuring the AML program in such a way that key information didn't make it to analysts responsible for filing SARs.
