The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) has issued an interim final rule exempting U.S. companies and persons from reporting beneficial ownership information (BOI) under the Corporate Transparency Act, while requiring foreign entities meeting the new "reporting company" definition to submit BOI to FinCEN by specified deadlines.
