
CFPB: Utter Disregard for Markets or Champion of Hardworking Consumers?
The battle lines were drawn in a hearing on the CFPB before the House Financial Services Committee. For his part, CFPB Director Cordray spent his opening remarks recounting his bureau's accomplishments and reminding those who talk about weakening the CFPB that they "are missing the importance of the work we are doing to stand up for individuals and families all over this country."
