
CFPB Squeezing Small Institutions into Leprechaun Sized Regulations
Members of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee questioned CFPB Director Richard Cordray about the stance his agency has regarding smaller institutions. Rep. Steve Stivers (R-Ohio) was particularly straightforward when attributing CFPB's regulations to a toddler-sized T-shirt and having an adult wear it. There's only two ways to do that, either diet the entity so much there's no room left to service the community or break the T-shirt, with the T-shirt being the regulations. [3/17/16]
