After hearing from the industry regarding new HMDA reporting requirements, the CFPB is proposing a number of "clarifications, technical corrections, and minor changes" to the HMDA regulation. The changes include clarification of key terms, establishment of transition rules, and the proposal of a new online geocoding tool that the CFPB would provide. The proposal will be open for a 30-day comment window soon. [4/14/17]
