
Asleep at the Switch: OCC Looks At What Took It So Long to React to Wells Fargo Misdeeds
Issues with Wells Fargo's sales practices were identified in the bank's audit committee reports as early as 2005 and in OCC core assessment conclusions since at least 2010. This self-report seeks to identify why the OCC was asleep at the switch and what changes are needed to prevent such oversights in its oversight. [4/20/17]
