Another TRID Delay? Here’s What Cordray Had to Say
Among the many items the Senate grilled CFPB Director Richard Cordray on was a further delay of the effective date of the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure to the end of the year. He explained a technical issue that made an end-of-year date problematic. But he then offered this: For the "first period, which may last many months... if we see errors, we will point out what they are and how they should be corrected. We will not be looking to be punitive toward people." [7/17/15]
