FinCEN and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve (FRB) issued a proposal regarding wire transfers and the information banks must gather for any transfers which originate or end outside the United States. The proposal would drop the threshold from $3,000 to $250. ABA urges the Agencies to withdraw this proposal, as well as allow for a longer comment period. [12/10/20]
